I have read that if you want to hold the babies you should remove mom to a fun cage? Is that true? I would wait about a week before trying to hold them. Also when i do go to look at them i will hve to lift the bowl to look under it will i have to remove her then or just give her treats?
I gave her some goodies today, cooked noodles scrambled eggs and peanut butter covered blocks and rice

Also another question, when is it safe to put the wheel back on the tube? I have a plastic wheel that attaches to the tubing to fit on outside of cage. But wondering if i should buy on of those discs because depending on size of babies compared to cage bars i may move them to a tank once they become active...new mommy so needs lots of advice...lol

She is being a really good mommy, cleaning her nest and tending to her babies, i didn't hear anything back from previous questions, I went ahead and put her wheel back on cage and she was very much appreciative. I really really want to see the babies!!!!

Take the wheel out. They will often choose to run over nursing.
