Ok. So I was forced to move due to neighbor problems. Stress. I move and have 2 electrical fires in the same week. Have to relocate all my critters to do repairs. Some due to the fire and others due to the last tenent. Lots more stress!! My kitchen sink has not worked since I moved in. The water will not go down the drain, not one drop. The faucets easily turn on at a single touch and flood my house and the vacant apt below. I can't even do my dishes in my kitchen sink!!!

Today I come home to running water. One of my cats must have fallen off the window sill and hit the hot water faucet. I caught it just in time as it was over flowing. All the water had other plans though. It all went down my broken spray nozzle and flooded the downstairs apartment!!! There goes all my clean towels and my patience. Ready for this? I had to duct rape my faucets still. Now I REALLY can't use the sink at all.

I am and have been putting so much into this place. I am so upset. I just want to buy my own nice house in live in peace and quiet. The whole neighbor and family member issues have left me pretty much living like a recluse. Minus a few people and you guys , I don't bother with anyone else. *sigh *

Not that anyone wanted to hear all that. I just had to get it out before I explode.

All I can say is that REALLY sucks, errrr....

Landlord needs to get his butt in gear quickly or you guys should hire the work to be done and then deduct it from future rent...I think it would hold up in court if you get receipts.

Anything that's not done in a timely fashion that is important (like leaky roofs, pest problem, etc) can be done by tenant and deducted from future rent (legally).

I'm not sure if that means the sinks too, but I would definitely call someone in charge of housing or something (like a government thing) and tell them what's going on.

Tenants have rights. Look up tenants rights.

I took business law and this was a large part of it. I'll look for my book when I get home!

Thanks guys. Happy. I told then I would fix the place and they gave me a list of problems before I signd my lease. Pluming and electricity was not part of the deal. See- I needed someplace to go and the place was not ready for renting out. They did me a favor but certain things Luke plumbing were not part of the deal- too expensive. Sigh....... Grrrr

Thanks. The situation I was in with my previous neighbors was bad. My babies were in danger and I needed out. Not many places will let you rent with as many as I have. Most people even heard putbull and freaked. I had no choice. It is turning out to be a very nice place but with lots of improvments. It is a very large place and my dogs have a large yard to share with my landlords three dogs. I am building credit to buy my own place in Colorado but currently I am stuck. Plus I do Love job right. It is so rewarding.

I am so sick of this town. At least the worst is past me. I hope. It is just so depressing to not even be able to fill a water bottle or wash a cup out in my kitchen sink.

I hope things turn around for you really soon Sad What a stressful turn of events to have to go through. Hug your babies close and remember that Rodent Fest is in a month and that will make all of your troubles disappear! Happy

Oh, gosh! You poor thing! That's horrible! I hope things start working out soon!

The rent-a-house we're in has issues too. Now that the warm weather is back, it's time for the problems to start amping up again. Yay! *sarcasm*

I am soooo looking forward to rodent fest. I need to start getting my life back in order and doing what makes me happy- breeding mice and playing my video games. And if corse enjoying my babies.

It has been really tough. But I am trying and things are slowly coming together. Slowly. Thanks for all your support. You know - most of my close and trusted friends come from the mouse community. Happy

We were renting a apartment when we first moved to where we live now and it had a leak and mold. Instead of fixing it they patched it then moved us to another one.

I really hope things get better for you soon :-)

I'm waiting one more week, then taking off so we can come to RF! I didn't want to do it so soon since I just started last week! LOL But I'm doing it!

Are you talking about xbox or play station games? My son has me addicted to Modern Warfare 3. Never in my life did I think I would play a shooting game, but it's a stress relief sometimes LOL

Lol. Video games are a stress relief. Happy. I play a variety of games and I have many systems. If you like modern warfare I think you would love left for dead. I love the second one myself. It is for Xbox360 but I think they may make it for PlayStation as well.

They really help me cope as well as taking walks down to the park with my dogs. Too bad I need to take one at a time though. They act stupid together. Lol.
