Hello, hello!
I'm 20, I work at a daycare, and although I am in college, who knows what the end goal is...
I don't breed, but I do have a potentially pregnant female, and I'm hoping for some advice. My experience with mice in general is limited to about two years of caring for them, and my experience with pregnant and baby mice is pretty non-existent...
I have three girls and two boys (again, as pets only, considering babies terrify me ). The newest girl was supposed to join my other girls, and the plan was to introduce them all some day. I didn't realize at first, but my pregnant lady was being housed in a 10 gallon with 19 other boys. They didn't mis-sex her, though, they only put one female in each tank of males because, they said, the females kill the other females' babies.
Anyway, I guess I'll start a topic for advice on that later. For now, just stopping in to say, "Hello!"

Hello! Fellow pet store pregnant mouse story here Fair warning: It's addicting and you're going to go from "nervous about raising babies" to "I want to do this all the time!".

Re: Hello, hello!
Thanks, guys!
I'm actually starting to worry that she's NOT pregnant. It probably wouldn't really be a bad thing, but after reading about/seeing all kind of mouse babies, I'm starting to like the idea of having some around.
