Hi from PA
Hi! I am just finding all these wonderful mouse forums! I am about to be the proud mommy of 3 new mice tomorrow! Going to a breeders house to pick them up! I am excited and have already learned so much in one day of forum browsing.
I currently have 7 chinchillas, all of which are rescues. I live in Eastern Pennsylvania, and look forward to chatting!

Have you heard of Rodent Fest? It's a rodent convention with a mouse show (hosted by me and Mouselover01) which will be in Leesport PA in April!

I will put it down, and see if my friend can come, she is getting mice this weekend too. She and her husband run a vets office in Hamburg.

Re: Hi from PA
We have a post about it here in the events section, it's probably got the most info you'll find online.
Unfortunately the organizers of the event aren't very good at advertising, but we're doing a pretty good job at getting the word out.

Hopefully I can tell who is who. Do you guys have a picture of each of you? On my chinchilla forum, each year (if people want) they can post pictures of themselves in a certain thread, so people can match names to faces.

Welcome to the forum!
Thats a great idea about posting pictures, I'm fairly new to having mice and have only met Mrs. Beach so far, but plan on going to RF!

Inkedup- I LOVE the red hair. I am a huge huge fan of red hair and go out of my way to tell anybody who has it that they are gorgeous
Re: Hi from PA
Hehe thanks. It's pretty drastic from my natural light blonde hair but I love it. After my thyroid cancer, my hair started thinning and has never bunched back so I dyed it darker to try to hide bald spots

Re: Hi from PA
Kawmice, I feel like I'm going to spend most of my life being identifiable by the dog I'm walking and I'm so proud of that. Major props to you!

Thanks, I get weird in social settings, so it is easier if I have a face to go with names before hand, so I dont panic. I love posting and taking pictures though.
