I've been working on the perfect set up for my mice for a few weeks now.

It's ended with this. I am never happy with the order of things in the house though so I'm constantly moving stuff around so I'm not sure how long it will stay like this.

Guinea pig on the bottom, trio of girls in the middle, mama and her babies on the top (male in a separate tank).

The trio's tank.

Looks good! I'm hoping to buy a shelf like that in the near future. I like your wall color. Happy

Haha Kawmice, thank you. I call that color "omgreen" because I didn't realize HOW green it was until I painted it on the wall.

Nice setup. How do u have the climb robes hooked on screen?? I have wheels and saucers in my mouse cage. Never uses it. Do your mice like it??? My hamsters are a great love of them.

Sorry, I just saw this!

The fleece ropes are hooked onto the screen with paper clips that I bent and cut. They're sharp on the top so when I'm cleaning and hit them wrong I end up with an injured finger. Sad They are also impossible to remove unless I cut the paper clips. It was more of a temporary thing. I'm trying to find a way to be able to hook and unhook them so I can clean them. I think I'll go to a craft store and see what I can find.

I have some that use the wheels/saucers and some that don't. A boy from the Pet Smart litter actually started to develope wheel tail from too much running on his wheel so I had to take it away. But his mother won't touch the wheels.

Try the produce ties, thats what we use. I also save them from the bread too that we get! We also tried the ties, I don't know the proper name of them, but it's the ones the cops would use in place of hand cuffs, LOL. They work well but a pain to get off.

Wire ties? Those wouldn't fit through the mesh in my tank's lid but I'm glad they work for you Happy
