Sophisticated Lady's baby

I am starting a new brindle tri line, just in case, because of the possibility of tumors in the Super Line but also for different flavors of the A^vy pattern and color. I think eventually I'll breed the ones I like best together. We're talking years down the road!

This is the Secret Line, founded by an EVLV overmarked poor tan brindle buck named Secret Agent Number One and a tri doe Elena bred named Sophisticated Lady. (Elena! What's your mousery called? What's your prefix?)

Rhasputin told me that most of the brindle babies would be overmarked but in every litter there was one really good tiger-striped brindle...and here he is!





He carries s and some c-dilute and possibly hides Spl and will eventually be bred back to Sophisticated lady for c-dilute brindle tris (whose c-dilutes will need to be identified and bred towards c^e/c^e). Thanks to Rhasputin and Elena for such good mice to start this line with!

My third brindle tri line will be the Skinny Line, descended from Skinny Boy. Skinny Boy's S/s son, Macbeth, is in with Queen Victoria right now but not much is happening. (The reason I didn't cross Skinny Boy to a tri is that I am breeding pied American brindles for Roland from him. This coming generation will be A^vy s/s and then I can split off Roland's line from the Skinny Line.)

Wow Mrs. Beach! I am excited to see how things move along, just love those tris!

I've decided to name SL's brindle baby Kaboom!, as in, "Kaboom! Stripes!" Today Kaboom is getting a bit orangey on his upper body. It's funny how the orange comes in on the head and shoulders first. It's going to be a really good orange, too! I am so happy!

Hey, I just checked Kaboom's belly and he appears to have inherited his father's a^t gene, which is a poor tan, very light, so phenotypically Kaboom is going to be a brindle fox! Major coolness! Yippee!

He seems to have very lovely stripes!

It is really neat how u can predict what is coming. You are like a mad scientist. In a very good way of course. . Those striped babies are great. You should name one spangle. ( the star spangle banner.) Just a baby name suggestion.

LOL I thought the same thing. She can even predict how many babies they will have!!

There is a lady near me Amber, who is Mad Science Mousery! She is hitching a ride with me to RF so you will all get to meet her. I don't think she is online anywhere. But she breeds amazing texels!

I have a mouse on hold from her. a fuzzy doe. Lol I have not heard from her for a while though so I need to email her.
