Figure it can't hurt Big smile

typey pew's, need a couple to improve overall length of body and tail, bucks or does would work, would even consider other colors with good type/length.

I'm growing out a few PEW bucks...if they are any good you can have one. They are from my most "typey" line.

I also have 10 litters on the ground, with a few more due any second, that will have a few PEW or Dove babies from my nicer mice. I've got to "take inventory" of them all this weekend and start taking photos of the older babies who will be ready to go. I've just started culling some of the litters, so things are just in the begining stages and I can't say for certain what I have yet. No Fur! Laughing

Are you looking for anything in particular that the PEWs may be carrying? Or is there anything you DON'T want them to be carrying?

beth, that would be awesome Big smile

melissa, Color is really unimportant, I'll be breeding them into my pew angora/texel project. would prefer to avoid fuzzy carriers, but it's not terribly important, I've bred it out before and can do it again if it means bringing in better length.

Yeah, I have oodles of babies now. I usually stagger 2-4 pairs at a time, putting the next pairs together when the previous pairs' litters are 1-2 weeks old so the next set of pairs gives birth after the previous ones have been weaned. NO ONE was cooperating all Winter, so I said what the heck and just put all the scheduled pairs I had together and hoped at least a few would cooperate. Well, most have cooperated this time of course!

About to head down to the mouse room in a bit, once this heartburn from hell calms down. tongue

Make that 11 litters!!!!! Santa's Little Helper had her litter during the night.

I made my rounds and got everyone who littered during the week to 6 babies. I should have PEWs but they may all end up being Rex. Since you are going to use them for Texels, would that work as well? I'll have Dove/PEW and possibly Silver. I don't yet have fur so I'm not 100% sure if I've gotten any Silver this time.

Yeah, rex is good Big smile.

Congrats on the babies. This winter sucked for litters, I was really worried there for a while when almost nothing was breeding.

Yes, it sure did suck! I wonder if it is the freak weather and world changes we've been having? The mice may be psychic..... JK! lol
