Walrus Girl's babies

Post by Mrs. Beach on Mon Apr 02, 2012 6:56 pm

Walrus Girl (a^t/a c^ch/c^h d/d Sa/sa s/s spl/spl re/re--not rex, right?) x Blox (who is at least a^t/a c^ch/c^ch d/d S/s Sa/sa and rex).

Day 8:

From darkest to lightest by descending weight. The bubs are not totally in this order in the pix.
All are d/d; the darker ones are c^ch/c^ch and the lighter ones are c^ch/c^h:
doe, rex fox
buck, pied fox
buck, pied fox
buck, rex fox
doe, satin
buck, pied fox
buick, rex fox

My breeding goal was standard blue foxes. I think they are very handsome! I got two of them!
(Someone please remind me if rex is dominant or recessive!)

Beautiful! Will any be available? Rex is dominant I believe.

There have been adopters waiting for these babies to be born who have first refusal. SCMousery, would you like me to put you on the waiting list, just in case?

I always love checking out your posts because you have the cutest babies!

I'm also extremely impressed by how you manage to keep track of so many genes all in one mouse, lol. Most breeders seem to be trying to get their mice down to just one or 2 genes, but I enjoy how you like to do so many new and intriguing mixes to get such unique mice. Happy

Yes, there are three rexes in this litter. Oh, "Walrus Girl" is one of the more unusual names I have come up with! She's Supergirl's daughter, so she got a superhero name. When she was a baby she was so fat, with folds and wrinkles, that with her grey color she looked like a little walrus!

Here she is as a bub. She's the biggest one, in the middle. No folds of fat in this pic, but I'm sure you get the idea!

Holy Cow She is huge. It is neat you have her baby photo. If a rex blue is available, I would love a buck. Robin

Oh my goodness, so adorable!! I believe I'm on the road to becoming a mouse hoarder! LOL

Your mice always have nice coats on them too. Logan had friend over last week and they said Midnight's coat reminded them of glass because it was so shinny! LOL
