First litter of Tri Mom

Post by Annjee on Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:41 pm

I am new to mice and my special Tri doe had a litter with a Satin Blue Splash. I would love to hear what I need to look for to improve Tris or benefit a Siamese line. The one with the white blaze on the head, also has a white area extending hip to hip beneath and the rest is tan. Does this make him a poor tri? If the black and chocolate selfs (solids) have tan bellies, the one with half a white belly is just a pied black tan, which doesn't count as a tri even though it technically has 3 different colors. I'm still unsure about that one buck in the 3rd to last picture though, as we discussed. Its slightly darker patches make it look like a tri, but it's hard to tell. People a bit more experienced with breeding tris will probably be able to point you in the right direction better than me Happy
