Re: Three rex bucks

Colour: Okay, looks a little blotchy and un-even in places. Is this mouse poor rex?
Coat: Coat is poor. Can't tell if it's re or standard, but either way it is far from the standard or both.
Type: Overall it's fair. The arched back is appealing.
Condition: Looks very healthy.
Head: Don't know if it's a buck or a doe, but it appears to be a little narrow on the cheeks, the nose is very well placed, and doesn't stick out too much.
Eyes: Bright and healthy, but could be larger.
Ears: Too many wrinkles in the ears, could be a smidge lower and a tad larger.
Tail: Length is good, set is not so good. Looks to have very little tapering.
Size: Size looks nice, good size for a buck.

Colour: Dove top look evenly coloured, much better than the first mouse. Tan colour is very bold, but too light.
Coat: Again I can't tell if this is a re or standard coat. It is far from either standard.
Type: Over-all type is fair, this mouse is a bit pudgy.
Condition: Condition is good, the hair is a bit scruffy in some areas, but this is likely just from coat type.
Head: Appears to have a better head than the first mouse. Could still use some width, nose is also well set.
Eyes: Bright and clear, A bit on the small side.
Ears: Smoother and more tulip shaped than the first. Could be set a bit lower, and be a bit larger
Tail: Can't really tell length, but set is ok. It needs a lot more taper.
Size: This also appears to be a nice sized buck mouse.

Colour: Colour of the splashes is good, but distribution is poor.
Coat: Looks very healthy, glossy, and plush.
Type: Over-all type is appealing
Condition: Looks extremely health and bright
Head: Nice width at the cheeks, but too much taper towards the nose.
Eyes: Good size, bright and healthy.
Ears: Good placement, very smooth, good set, could be a bit more curled.
Tail: Set appears better than the other 2 mice, looks like it might be short though (can't tell for sure)
Size: A little small for a buck, but I think he also looks young, so that may be why.
Other comments: I like this mouse the best out of the 3

Re: Three rex bucks
I like the splashed the best. He seems to have the best type and color of them all.
Re: Three rex bucks
1, Dove Rex Buck
Colour:Appears uneven in first pic, this may be due to shadows from the rex coat or not. It is a mealy.
Coat: Good density, length and finish but lacks texture
Type: Good length and depth of body peaks too far forward giving the impression of a heavy shoulder,
Condition:Good flesh and coat condition
Head:Good curvature to the skull, lacks width through the lower muzzle and fullness a tthe cheek.
Eyes: Good eye, bold bright and of good size
Ears: Ears are set a bit high on the head and carried too far back on the head. Fair shape and size,
Tail:[can only see the first inch or so] Fair tail, seems thin and with little taper, pinched at the base of the tail
Size:[can't really tell what size it is]
Other comments: Overall a bit refined in bone and heavy in body.
2, dove tan rex buck
Colour: Fair, top color appears mealy and uneven, belly color has fair intensity, lines of demarcation appear jagged and uneven but fairly well placed overall.
Coat: Fair, lacks finish, density and texture, poor length, several stray guard hairs
Type: Fair, lacks length and depth, good width throughout
Condition:Fair coat condition, fair flesh condition, appears a bit overweight and loose in flesh
Head:Fair head, good width between the eyes but lacks fullness through the cheeks and lower muzzle.
Ears: Fair ears, ears are set too far back on the head, poor carriage. Slightly folded with notable creases. Several nicks along outside of both ears detract from overall appearence
Tail:Good tail, has good substance, but is pinched at the base of the tail.
Size:[can't really tell what size it is]
Other comments: Overall a bit refined in bone and heavy in body.
3. Splashed Rex Buck
Colour:Poor distribution and undermarked.
Coat: Fair, good length and density but lacks in texture
Type: Overall good, neck is too long and detracts for overall appearence, fair length of body and depth of body, appears weak at the shoulder.
Condition: Excellent flesh and coat condition
Head: Good, good width between the eyes and fullness to the cheeks, lacks fullness through the lower muzzle.
Eyes: Very good, nice large bold eyes.
Ears: Good, good shape and substance to the ears, ears are clean and undamaged, set well apart on head but carried a bit far back on the head.
Tail: fair, tail is of fair substance appears thin
Size:[again can't really tell size from pic]
Other comments: Better head and ear than the others but still heavy in body. The tail is very thin for the size and weight of the buck.
I like the dove rex best, he has the best color, and body type of the three with a nice short thick neck, best overall length and depth. The splashed I like second best, while his head, ear and condition are better than the dove, his color is poor being undermarked with poor distribution of color, his tail is thin/weak, his type is also not as good as the dove, with a long thin neck, weak at the shoulders and heavy through the hindquarters he lacks length when compared to the dove. I like the dove tan least, with a longer snipey head, poorly shaped, placed and carried ears, small eyes, poor lines of demarcation and poor coat quality and condition. He does however have the best tail of the three.
