Hairless Manx Meecelets!!!

Post by Stina on Sat Jan 21, 2012 10:27 am

Wooooo! My mice are so good to me! Litter out of 2 hairless carriers (sire was also dominant manx)....11 babies, lost 1...3 have turned out hairless and all 3 of them just happen to be manx! They've just started losing hair on their faces and legs Happy They are quite possibly the first ever hairless manx mice (if you know of any others let me know!)!

They're precious! I so sincerely wish I could get hairless mice over here. They're my favorite. Big smile

When they start losing their fur, their faces remind me of magneto, wearing his helmet. Laughing

The black eyed ones are pretty, I think hairless looks much better with black eyes, those pink eyed ones still creep me out lol. On the agouti's I see the tails and ears are dark now do you think they'll stay dark or will the color go with the hair?

theoretically the color will go away...but I've seen very few photos of dark eyed hairless...so time will tell! I definitely prefer dark eyed myself Happy

Too bad, they'd look interesting with dark ears and tail.

Oooh, I like them in black eye much better. So much less creepy! I hope they do keep a little of their pigment in their ears/tail. I might even have to admit they're kind of cute if that happens. tongue

Oh!!! They are soooo very cute!!! I miss my manx. I had manx about 4 years ago, but they were not my main focus. Plus I had issues with that line early on. Sad Now to have a manx hairless?? Thant is Awsome!!

I love hairless mice with both pigments and without.
