Hello, hello!

Hey!
My name's Amber and I am a hobby breeder/keeper of fancy mice. I've always loved small animals, but I've only recently started breeding after discovering an interest in genetics. I have 20-25 mice in my "colony" (2-3 breeding pairs, several developing youngsters, and about a dozen eldery/retired/misfit does I am particularly attached to). I have (but am not necessarily breeding) texel, satin, hairless, fuzzy, merle, banded, fox/tan, siamese. I'm also very interested in somatic mutations like taillessness, folded down ears, extra toes, etc. I am located in Baltimore, MD.

I'm calling my little breeding project Mad Science Mousery. Years ago, when I bred rhinos and had various other weird rodents, a visitor to my house remarked that it looked like a mad scientist's lab lol.
