Lovebirds anyone? Empty Lovebirds anyone?

Hello all!
I have been playing around with the idea of breeding birds. I have a supposedly proven pair of lovebirds and the female is in full nest-making mode. I have a nestbox. The next step is to give it to them.
Would anyone here be interested? I would have to sell the babies, for $40 each unless I decide to handfeed them. They would be handtamed either way. The mom is lutino and the dad is yellow and green pied.
My husband is convinced that I should not because I will be heartbroken and keep all the babies and then we will have 2 million lovebirds. tongue Maybe if I found some interested parties he would cave!

Best of luck! I've got my bird-hands full with just breeding the OEGBs. By the by, you wouldn't want a cockerel would you? Laughing

Very cool kaw! That would be awesome
L, I don't think I want any fertile eggs at all. The only way I would get a rooster is if it's a Faverolle rooster.

Lovebirds are neat! I like them because they are colorful and small and if they bite it isn't that bad..unlike most other psittacines lol. My boyfriend has a breeding pair of blue-fronted amazons, but doesn't think they'll have a clutch this year. Sad

Wow! No kidding? It would be amazing to breed larger birds...he must have made an investment on those! I hope they do make eggggies.
