Unreasonable amounts of baby fluff!

The buck I kept from the Pandora x Cosmos litter is going through his awkward texel baby stage where he looks like a cotton ball. Except he takes it to the next level.

Lol, all the boys do that, and the better girls will as well. I love the cottonball phase. But you can already see where the coat has broken across the shoulders, it'll work it's way down the rest of the body as he molts out the baby coat.

As the baby coat molts out you should seem some improvement in the texture, the longer softer baby coat just can't hold the curls.

Ah! I did not know it was a buck thing The little black texel I got from you went through a more minor version of this phase and a mouse I got from Elena was really poofy like this guy. I get a kick out of it!

Texels are fun to breed, all the different phases and quirks keeps you on your toes.

Sooo cute! I love texels when they're all fluffy like this. Some of mine get an uneven coat like this which looks like a skirt around the butt and puffballs behind the ears. Wish they looked like this forever!
