First Litter Update!

I promised baby pictures! Damask, the mother, peed on my hand when I removed her..but at least she didn't make me bleed this time. Actually she's been doing better, I was able to put my hand in the nest while she stepped to the side and they nibbled/sucked on my fingers..I couldn't stand how cute they were!

I have three dumbo (1 agouti male and 2 black, 1 male/1 female) and three top-eared (agouti, 2 males/1 female). I believe they're all berkshire, possibly variegated.

If I'm right about the father, I'll have to pair these guys up for blue dumbos in the future.

Aw blue dumbos? Of the countless rats I've owned over the last decade I had two favourites and one was a blue dumbo rescued from the SPCA. <3

That said, black dumbos are quite striking!

So cute! Will be interesting to see what they produce in the future.
