ISO RodentFest 2013 table partner

Hi. I may or may not be able to get to RF on April 27th. If I go, I will only be able to stay 10:00 a.m.-noon. If I can't go, I need to find someone to send mice with for people. In either case, I NEED TO SHARE A TABLE WITH SOMEONE who would be willing to collect money for my mice. I have a friend who will bring my unsold mice back to me. I will provide you with a detailed spreadsheet about each mouse and who it goes to, cell numbers, genotypes, etc.

Willing to pay half of table fee!

Are these mice pre-reserved?

Some of them will be reserved and some of them (what I call "extra mice") will be for sale to the general public.

The spreadsheet goes with the reserved mice, and I shall have been in close contact with the people who will get them. They will come to you, and if they don't, you'll have their cell numbers, or you can phone me and I'll call them. (You might be busy!)

The extra mice will sell themselves. Just need someone to approve the adopters and take the money for me.

I've asked rjduve if she'd bring back the unsold extra mice and empty bins for me like she did last year.

Cindy and Casey, separately, did this job for me last year, and if you'll remember, Casey was running the UMC mouse show at the same time. I set it up to run itself. That's how easy it is!

hmmm. Well, i would be able to give out the reserved mice for sure but approving adoptors always makes me very nervous. Do you have a list of questions to ask or guidelines?

Could do! I could send you my application form to read to them and you could listen to their answers and approved them, educate them, or turn them down.

This is a possibility. How many mice we talkin'?

Dunno yet! Dunno how many mice will be born (five more litters planned before RF). Dunno how many Extra Mice there will be or how many of those will be wanted. Last year--well, you picked up 26 or so!--there were about 35 mice. Does this help? Would you have a limit?

Well Ann, I am more than happy to help. You have done so much for me, after all. I will agree and we will have much more indepth discussion as the event draws closer, I hope . I know I might not get my available mice listed until Jan/Feb myself.

Yay, Emma! We'll be in business together! THANK YOU! I will pay the entire table fee out of gratitude! You always will have the option to say, "Ann, that's too many mice!" and I will find someone else to handle the overflow ones. You know how mice get added at the last minute. I think last year I had three people delivering mice for me. It would be easier with just one, though. I don't really anticipate more than 30. I mean, how many can I house here for the several months before RF, after all?

I know how well you organize things, Ann, so I know you will make it easy on me!!! I appreciate you paying the booth fee, that is very kind!
