Hello from NZ
I've actually been lurking around for a while apparently (in all honesty, I forgot I was a member here..) and now I'm FINALLY going to type up an introduction even though I believe a lot of you already know who I am.
Soooo...
My name is Stephanie, I just turned 19 a little over a week ago. I live outside of Whangarei in New Zealand on a lifestyle block breeding Scottish Highland Cattle as well as mice! Umm.. I have 7 mice, one of which, (Xia) gave birth to a litter of 7 on the 21st
I have owned mice for about 2 and a half years. My first mouse was a pied/broken agouti called Duma who ended up being pregnant and gave birth after 2 weeks to 8 baby boys - one of which still floating around in my mousery, the old boy!
As for my list of other animals..
6 guinea pigs , 3 cats, countless fish, 2 rabbits and 12 cows, (9 Scottish Highlands, 1 Hereford Dairy mix, 1 Belted Galloway, 1 Hereford Dairy Highland mix).
Not really sure what else to say, any questions, just ask and I will post when I can

Re: Hello from NZ
Hey there! Welcome!
I want cows one day. I just love them! Growing up, a neighbor brought 2 baby cows down from upstate Ny where he had a farm. He let them live in his yard because they were born right around winter and it was too cold where they were from. We got to go over and feed them and play with them.
They were like playful puppies.
Anyway, welcome welcome! Would love to see pics! I've always wanted to go to New Zealand. One day!

Re: Hello from NZ
OMG it's like long haired cuteness!
We only have one acre right now, but we're looking to be out of here within the next 2 years. My boyfriend wants to move to the other side of the city and we both want land.
Once we have land I can get whatever I want, within reason!
I want to get some cows, horses, chickens, and goats. Maybe a camel?

You could always get a brahman, they have these long lopped ears like rabbits, a hump like a camel but are a cow :O! hahamouselover01 wrote:OMG it's like long haired cuteness!

We have 11 acres so we are pretty much at our limit for cattle - Dad won't allow horses.. gah! Maybe if we had more land.. Hmmmmm
Why Hello I can always post more pictures of my moo's.. or guineas?Mrs. Beach wrote:Hi, Cordane! It's great to see your cattle!
