Tiny Harts Babies!
I have a new litter in the nest today! The parents were a big pet type satin RY (mom) and a black tan show x pet buck! I need to go check on them but so far, no complications!
Update! Mom in perfect condition, she had 15, ten BE and 5 PE. I culled the few smallest PE.

Ann! We've talked by now!
I took a few quick pictures of the momma, Satinspar. She is the perfect example of what I consider "pet type" I am really fond of the way she looks! She is a satin RY, the satin causes her to look a little sooty but undoubtedly RY.
I'm getting the huge preedited photos, is everyone else seeing smaller cropped photos?

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
I had two more litters in the last day. One was a pet/show x pet RY litter and one is a lovely backbred show litter. The father of the show litter, my first show mouse, passed away yesterday and that's when the mom had her babies!
I hope the other female that was in with his is pregnant, but it's hard to tell. She has a tummy but her weight doesn't increase much. Here's hoping because she sure is the prettiest of all!

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Here are the three litters, starting with Satinspar's babies.
EDIT- the babies are super dusty from the bedding, it's not mites, I don't think.
The males are the clear RY with no headspot and the chocolate. I am pleased that the chocolate is a bit darker than I usually end up with. He does have some white spots on his belly though!
Second is my show mouse litter...with the shock of my life! Can you guess what it is? There is a male blue and a male black. These are also the first blues born here!
The last litter is another RY litter, but I guess we know that the parents are both S/s... At least I know, and the spotting patterns ARE pretty cute. They are like, Neon Pink.

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
So adorable! I love all the little pied RYs. I wasn't a fan of RY for a long time, but I do adore them when they're mostly solid with just a touch of white.
Is the shock that one of the blues is a fuzzy? At least I think it is. I think I see crimped whiskers and wrinkleskin, but I'm not sure!

YES!! The blue doe is a fuzzy!!! I cannot believe it!
Thank you for the compliments on the RY, I definitely didn't anticipate working with it but I found a nice color strain and it helps my tans.

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
I am kind of deciding that head spot RY girl and headspot RY boy will be available to adopt, as well as pied black girl. Any interested parties let me know. I can take them to rodentfest.
Husband likes the look of pied RY, weirdly...and she appears to be super red as of this week.
I will need to get a picture but the blue male's tail appears...jankety in a way, not kinked persay but wavy in a spot. Please tell me this doesn't mean he's about to get a kink...not my first blue baby.

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
My lovely silver tan show doe just had her babies today, by Beth's Stormy!
I have given her the afternoon and I am going to go check on her now!
She had 14 babies, at least 5 PE bucks (boo) but...several PE does and both genders of BE.
Let me know for sure if you have interest, So far I have
FMB member, silver tan doe
KAW, black tan buck (?), dove tan doe?

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Congrats! I am already getting a black tan buck from you so from this litter I would like a blue tan doe and a dove or dove tan doe if possible. Lol

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
OK, what I am going to have in this litter is hopefully, one blue tan buck. There are only two BE does so I will not have those available until further notice.
I have three PE does that are completely available. I will update on colors as soon as I know!

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
I believe that the silver tan's litter is spoken for! If the dove tan is pregnant, I will have a few from that litter too!
I will try to get some good pics of everyone!
