When can you tell if bubs are a^t?
Walrus Girl just had her litter of a^t/a d/d c^ch/c^ch (some c^ch/c^h) (some rex). This is Day 5 for them. How old do they need to be before I can tell which are a^t? Right now all their bellies are pink, and I know only 75% of them should be a^t.
(Back from PA, but running right off to play gigs tonight and tomorrow. REALLY back to the online mouse world Sunday. Dad came through the operation just fine!)

Depends on top color. With diluted mice it can be a little harder to tell...but once they start getting pigment and fur you can start to see that distinct line across their side.

Yes, once top color starts coming in, you should be able to tell. They'll all still have pink bellies, but you'll see a distinct line of demarcation especially on darker bubs. Pink eyes and dilutes may take longer to tell, but once fur starts you can usually tell.
