Wow! Come and Stay are two hard ones!

Oh, BTW, the going rate for mice from most breeders is $5.00 each. Some charge less. I don't know any who charge more--except you!

Humm yes, I notice that that that number varies a lot. Which brings a question. I think Mice are worth much more that $5 that one reason why I chose $10. Then I send my mice home with so much stuff, I'm losing money. I also said price is not firm...lol I just want the best of homes. I do it all for the mice. I don't plan on changing the price unless someone wants me to. Here's the question: I can get health certificates for them (This is a FL thing) for $35 I can get all the mice for a litter checked out. Then you could say they all have health insurance for 30 days. You bring them it at 8 weeks. Do you think I should do it?

I guess my question is more. Is it alright to bring them in at 8 week. Would they be scared or just too young to go to the vet?

It shouldn't be a problem but I personally don't see much of a point to it when they seem healthy to you, given how much vets charge to walk in their doors. There's not a whole lot they can do other than listen to the breathing and, well, look at them, right?

Yeah, for $35 the do the hole litter. Price doesn't matter to me. They look in there eyes, check there breathing, weigh them, check for ear or fun mites, and do fecal for inside parasites and more. And it's insurance on the animal for 30 days.

If it has value to you, there's little risk. The only risk I see is if there are other rodents in the clinic. 8wks is plenty old enough to be going to new homes, so it's plenty old enough for a vet visit.

Thanks! I was worried it was too young... Thank you! Depending on how many babies and who I keep, I might take them for their certificate.

Sure thing! I'll take a picture of her next time I play with them. She is the best broken one I have, looks just, just like her dad with her markings.
