Red Show Type? Also: Texels and Chocolate!
I've been informed that red show type are hard to come by in the states, but I am very interested in getting into breeding, specifically for reds. I have a lot of research to do on the subject still though feel I have a pretty good grasp on caring for a litter after my pet store mouse unexpectedly ended up being pregnant (thank you, Pet Smart!).
I understand that to attain reds I may eventually have to import. I will, however, be attending Rodent Fest in April to see what other options I have (with other colors, etc).
I am also very interested in texels and chocolates!
If anybody happens to have any of these available for Rodent Fest, I would love to talk! I know I am not a known member of the group yet, but my animals are all very well cared for. I hail from the dog rescue world and am familiar with the concept of spending a lot of money on vet care and high quality food.

There will be reds imported in May, so you'll be closer to being able to get them!
Texels should be easy to find, you may want to contact M137b on here and see if she has any available, hers are definitely the best in the US that I know of.

Fantastic, thank you!
Regarding reds being imported, if anybody is getting reds and will be having a litter available sometime in the next year or so, I am VERY interested in purchasing. I can also pick up provided you are a reasonable (<12 hours) distance from me (I'm in Connecticut).
Thank you!

I will be having a trio of reds imported in May. I'm in Rochester NY so I fall within your distance.
I'll hopefully have babies available within a year so keep a look out!

Re: Red Show Type? Also: Texels and Chocolate!
Just wanted to update this to say that I am still looking for texels of any color, preferably show type but also pet type that I can improve upon.
Also, any chocolates or reds that may be available for Rodent Fest. Specifically interested in show type, but once again, will take a nice pet type that I can improve upon.
Thank you
