Split Peas & Rice Empty Split Peas & Rice

Do any of you use this for your babies? If so, do you cook it first?

Since I'm getting my rats this weekend and my mice have became picky eaters I want to mix things up. I know lots of people use them, but can't find any where if you cook then dry then or just give them right out of the bag.

I give mine split peas right out of the bag. They love them.

I was told to cook the rice :-) But haven't tried it yet. Mice don't seem to like the peas tho! They are SO picky these days :-/
