Brindle Soot
I was admiring Mrs. Beach's post about Lara's pregnancy when I saw somebody mention brindle sootiness.
I have what I thought was a pied RY with the same kind of markings on her back. Does this mean she could actually be a poorly marked brindle?
This is her when she was younger. As she's grown older, the mark has grown darker and larger. It is very obvious on her now. I'll try to get updated photos later.

Re: Brindle Soot
I second Mrs. Beach...I had one that looked like her, her name was Tigerlily and she won a trophy for "Best Pet" at a show.

I remember Tigerlily! Oh, she was beautiful!
So is the definition of a sooty brindle one that has dark smudges instead of defined dark stripes?
