January Babies

Borrowed my sister's camera again and got some cute pics of some current babies.

First is a week old litter out of my brindle boy Trip, and a black self doe. Yes it's a big litter but there are 2 does nursing it so they should be fine.

From left to right: satin choc buck, black buck, choc buck, satin choc brindle buck, satin choc doe, black brindle doe, ? satin doe, overmarked brindle doe, satin overmarked brindle doe, satin overmarked choc brindle doe.

Black/Agouti pups, I have 3 litters that are out of a umbrous agouti buck to a satin umbrous agouti doe an umbrous agouti doe and an agouti doe. But they're all wiggly right now and kept climbing right out of the box and making a run for it so I only got a couple good pics of all 3.

The picture of that little black one with the bed head made me giggle!

They are all very pretty, and look nice and fat. I'm loving that satin brindle buck in the first picture. I'm not sure why, because I'm not even a huge fan of brindle, but he catches my eye.

The umbrous x Umbrous litter are from mice from me right?

Check your blacks for orange/yellow hairs, cause I think the line carries ae.

TY Zia. I really like that little brindle boy, it's a shame he's satin but I can live with that for now, lol.

Casey, 3 of the blacks in the pics are ae/ae. I bred the umbrous doe to a ae/ae buck, but got all normal blacks, so the origional doe was A/a. I've been breeding those offspring back together, working on color and type before I get around to breeding them into my tans.


I haven't bred the blue agouti's yet, they're both a bit petite and I'm giving them more time to see if they put on some more size.
