brindle bucks from non-obese brindle mom, Baltimore MD
I have three brindle bucks who could use a home. They were born 11/26/12. Their mom is a splashed brindle bred by Ember Falls Mousery. She is beautifully slim, even now at 6 months. Their father is a black rex bred here at Mad Science Mousery. The brindle bucks I'm putting up for adoption in this ad have a 50% chance of being true hairless carriers. They also have farther back in their bloodlines merle, blue and pied. Here's pix of them:
Here's the first boy, a brindle rex:
The second boy seems to have slightly long standard hair (there were also two texels in the litter):
The third boy is simply standard:
If you have any questions or would like to see more detailed pix or pix of their parents, please let me know. I am located in Baltimore, MD.

The third boy is beautiful! Are these distant descendants of Star and Slim?

Yes!! These little guys would be the great-great-great grand babies of Star and Slim. Do they look familar? lol Star & Slim's baby, Temple (great-great grandma) is still kicking about too

The first pic ofmthe brindle rex boy reminded me of Star and Slim before I ever made the connection intellectually.

Your second buck looks like a longhair rather than a longish standard. It'd take show-quality modifiers to get that kind of length out of a standard bred from longhair stock.

I was never sure whether a mouse like that was a poor long-haired or a longish standard. The only coat type I get any real length from are my rexes (texels). In a long-haired litter those with straight hair look like the brindle boy, but those with curly hair are usually explosions of fluff.

What cuties :3
It makes me wonder what they look like under all that white from the splash on mine.
I like the face on the first. Tail on the second and markings on the third.
Cute boys. <3
