Why I rescue/foster.... *pics*
Meet Keesha
This sweet girl was rescued from the Leadwood Pound the day she was due to be put in the gas chamber, her adopter backed out and didnt tell anyone. Keesha was left with no where to go. I heard about her Wednesday at 4:30 and by 5:30 she was in my car.
I fostered her over night, before she went on her way to the otherside of Missouri to go to a rescue that had room for her.
She recevied the vet care she badly needly. She had tapeworms, very underweight and an URI.
The whole time I had her, all she wanted to do was give kisses and sit in my lap. Even though I just had her a night, she was such a joy. She is why I rescue/foster...

Good for you! I have fostered dogs for rescues in the past and it was a very rewarding experience. Unfortunately I am at my personal dog limit now and probably will be for a long while. As a matter of fact, I should post some pics of my new puppy.. Anyway, what a lucky girl to have had you to help her.

I'm glad there are people like you in this world, thanks for helping the helpless creatures.
