Well, I stopped by the pet store today to get some mouse food and the manager came over and told me she had something special for me! They were two newly weened mice of the most interesting colors. Of course I had to get them as they were such sweet little things. Any ideas on the colors? Im thinking the first one, fluttershy, is a Fawn Resssive yellow, and the second, Carrot Cake is an argent since he has a bluish undercoat. What do yall think?

Both looked like marked recessive yellow to me. I had a surprise litter that look just like them. Very cute!

Thanks for the help with colors. We are having a 4-H show soon and I was wondering what I would show them under.

They are cute! Love the name, Carrot cake! My son comes up with some interesting names like that. His first hamster was Easter Friend! lol

Carrot Cake, Along with the rest of my mouse crew all have My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic names. I am a huge fan.

lol Congrats on the new sweeties!!

The first one, Fluttershy, is a Recessive Yellow Broken Marked and Carrot Cake is definately an Argente Broken. lol

btw...... Fawn and Recessive Yellow are entirely different genes and cannot be the same. I WISH you could get a fawn from a recessive yellow. lol
