Ivory/Beige/Coffee

Post by GypsyTails on Fri Mar 09, 2012 10:00 pm

So help my brain out here. Lol. ce/ce is Beige. b/b ce/ce is Coffee. ce/c is Ivory. But I don't know what to call b/b ce/c, what it should look like or if it works for Reverse Siamese. I thought my RS were b/b ce/c because their sires were Ivory and I thought their dams were PEW. A British fancier told me the dams must be pink-eyed Creams, because Ivory/Cream can't make RS. I have been calling my RS "Coffee" in notations, believing them to be b/b ce/c. But now I don't know what to think. Lol. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I know Reverse Siamese is supposed to be ce/ce, but what should a b/b ce/c look like? Is there a "designation" for it? Can it show reverse points?

Better yet: Other than test breeding, how the Hell do you tell the difference between PEW and PE Cream then? I didn't think PE Cream was so "easy to get". I thought it was one of those c & p linkage things? Then again, I DO have PE Splashes and Tri-color! Maybe my house is the Mecca of c & p linkage? Laughing Laughing Laughing
