Newbie hello

Hello all,
My name is Mel and I'm from Michigan. I do not yet own any rodents, though I had mice some years ago and am interested in rats at this time. A friend of mine felt this was a good place to hang out and learn about rodent care in general, regardless if it was mice or rats
I look forward to hanging out and learning more about the world of rodents in general!
