I have checked on everyone and the two mommas are doing great! I'm very excited to report that Angela, Cindy's doe, had 11 and Sade, my doe, had 13.

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
It looks today as though all of Angela's babies are black, and all of Sade's are PEW. This is strange about Sade, she was bred to a chocolate, so I should in theory get at least a quarter BE. No such luck!

It's a definite possibility. I've actually never had one, by chance alone. Whenever I expect it I get lilac.

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Here are some pictures of the recent babies!!!
Angela's babies are kind of boring, but large, snuggly, and so soft. There are two black tans and two black selves. They just opened their eyes!
Here is Sade's litter, four little girls. Of course, even by breeding a PE to her chocolate brother, I can't get champagne. Only dove. Sade must be PEW black.
They are smaller, but also snuggly.

Well, here's an update for you all. It's almost time to separate the angora litters, or, remove the one male, and everyone is doing so well.
I've paired up six pairs, so far one for sure has taken but I hope we will soon have a baby explosion around here!

Hi everybody!
I am happy to announce that after a small dry spell, we now have two obviously pregnant does.
The first pairing consists of hunky Jimmi and his sister Brilla. I am really excited about the pairing of two of my favorite mice!!!
I am expecting blue and blue tan in standard and fuzzy. Now taking requests.
Jimmi!!!
Brilla!
My next litter is VERY exciting indeed! It is Romeo x Tori, my Ay British doe!!!!

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Thank you!!! The blues are doing pretty fantastically, but the reds...momma doesn't seem to be producing a lot of milk. Should I take several babies and leave her with just a couple, or wait and see if the production kicks in?

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Yesterday we had a litter of four ! Mom is an extreme black pied angora carrying tri, and dad is a big huge Ivory male. Mom ate a tail and a half, but everyone appears to be doing well besides that. It's very gross and a bit ooky to look at, but from everything I've read, these babies should be ok.

Is Tori named after the brilliant red headed musician Tori Amos? Are her babies thriving?

Re: Tiny Harts Babies!
Yes, Tori...A very special name for a very special mouse. I've savored that name for a long time, waiting for the perfect mouse! I figure that my beautiful import doe is worth it. <3
Her two boys are doing really well, as well as her doe that I fostered.

[When is the last time since I watched The Addams Family TV show that I've heard the word, "ooky"?]
